1. Energy Monitoring and Targeting

We know our customers want to monitor their energy consumption using a simple user-friendly tool that they can access from anywhere. We have therefore developed the Active Energy Manager which is a Cloud based energy monitoring and targeting solution that allows the building occupant to access the energy information of their building or portfolio of buildings from any internet enabled device.

The solution has a simple interface that provides access to smart tools to assist an organisation in monitoring their energy consumption including charting, analysis, alarming, reporting and dashboard features. These features allow the end user to monitor the energy performance of their building in real time and be alerted during periods of energy consumption anomalies which may indicate a system

manual override, maintenance issues e.g. a leak, or a change in the building occupancy patterns that needs to be taken into consideration.

As well as on the Active Energy Manager, the energy consumption can be displayed in the reception area of a building using the Active Energy Green Screen to encourage positive behavioural change in energy management by alerting staff and public to the building's energy performance and providing tips and recommendations of how they can assist in improving energy consumption.

The Energy monitoring and targeting solution is EN 16001 and ISO 50001 compliant and is an important tool to implement at the start of any energy efficiency programme as you cannot manage what you do not measure!

2. Control Optimisation

A building's energy profile changes over time due to the evolving nature of any organisation but frequently the building management system is not updated to ensure the most efficient use of energy during this evolution. Our control optimisation solution is like a health check for your building. Our experienced energy engineers will carry out an audit of your building to determine the current status of your control

system and will design a solution to improve the performance of your building, optimise the control strategies and ensure that your buildings are operating at their most efficient without compromising on occupancy comfort.

Once optimised, the building owner can monitor performance on the Active Energy Manager to ensure that the building operates as expected. The Active Energy Manager will automatically alert on any deviation from expected performance, which the building energy manager can act upon in real-time to prevent building inefficiency and enable continuous commissioning.

Our optimisation solutions are suitable for any building type and depending on the building can create energy savings of up to 25% with payback periods in the region of two years.

3. Remote Energy Management

We recognise that in the current economic environment, not every building has the luxury of having a building energy manager on site, however, at the same time, every building has a target to reduce energy consumption and cost. Our Remote Energy Management service is the perfect solution to help solve this problem.

Via our state of the art energy bureau in Dublin, our expert energy engineers can remotely manage the building management system of any building to maximise occupant comfort and minimise energy consumption. This provides tangible cost savings in terms of energy, labour and maintenance and ensures that experts are continuously monitoring and managing the building performance in line with occupants' requirements.

To connect to our energy bureau, our energy engineers will carry out an audit of the building and design an optimisation solution to ensure the building management system is operating efficiently. Our energy engineers will agree the operating parameters with the building occupants and then continuously monitor and manage the building via the bureau to ensure its efficient operation.
